Welcome to all our new friends from the CamRanhOrphan . I see you've mentioned Buckner Beans on your Twitter page! Thanks!

Buckner's favorite vegetable served to the Orphans were those red beans forever affectionately referred to as "Buckner Beans". Pretty good eat'n along with a hunk of corn bread and green onion! Oh yea! Sweet Tea!

Send me your stories, memories, and/or pictures.

I'd like to start with stories and pictures of Mr. and Mrs. McKee if I can get them. Please write to me.

Viet Nam Veterans' Virtual Wall
This even lets you click on a person and read about them. Very touching. I will bet everyone on the mailing list will know someone who is on the Wall................
Someone spent a lot of time on this and it is truly remarkable........... Someone sent me the link above which is a virtual wall of all those lost during the Viet Nam War with the names, bio's and other information on our lost comrades. It is a very interesting link, and those who served in that timeframe and lost friends or family can look them up on this site. Pass it on to other veterans who you think would like this.
First click on a state......then when it opens .........a city or town...... then a name.......it should show you a picture of the person or at least his bio and medals......
Buckner Beans is looking for content to publish here on the web site. If you have any stories about your life at Buckner, announcements you want to add, whatever, please Email Me with what you have. The more content we have, the more important Google will consider this web site so we appear higher on the list of Google results when somebody does a search.

Join us in the Online Buckner Discussion Group. Started about 3 years ago, our membership has grown to 75 Bucknerites where we talk and visit online. Many of us have been reunited online with old roommates (and maybe even sweethearts). We also have many photo albums online for you to enjoy.

We do verify membership request by asking you to give us;

The name of the late Central Dining Hall.
The name you were known by while at Buckner.
What dorms were you in and what year(s).

REMEMBER! YOU MUST TELL US THE NAME OF THE LATE CENTRAL DINING HALL WHEN JOINING!!
